Samantha and Greg are getting married at Killington Resort this summer and they come up from Connecticut to snowboard often, so naturally we decided that a winter mountain engagement session was the perfect fit! We met up on a chilly February day to adventure around the base of the mountain. I spied the wooden bridge across the pond and asked if they’d be willing to trek over to do a few photos on it. They said yes, despite the face that there was no shoveled path and we had recently gotten some fresh snow. We had some laughs as the snow was well above our knees in some places, but still we hiked on.
We followed our noses over to the waffle cabin (which is about 25% of why I enjoy skiing) and watched the mid-afternoon sun start to dip behind the slopes. Sam and Greg had never been to the Inn at Long Trail which is one of my favorite après ski spots, so we ventured over for a Guinness and some tasty Irish apps. It was a wonderful afternoon and I’m looking forward to celebrating with you on your wedding day! xo
“Give me your best ‘I love waffles’ face!” Clearly, Sam loves waffles more than Greg. 🙂
